The
Young Adult Christian (YAC)Weekend
was created in 2008 within the Metro DC area to serve as an opportunity
where young adults can grow spiritually, fellowship, and build stronger
bonds with each other.
In this
day and age, the church is losing young adults at a dangerously alarming
rate. Individuals in their twenties and thirties continue to encounter
many distractions and challenges that deal with school, work, career
choices, dating, and relationships. As a result, the YAC Weekend serves
as a wonderful opportunity where young adults are able to come together
on one accord and be inspired by their fellow brothers and sisters in
Christians who are striving to live for Christ. We are firm believers
that reaching out and touching the lives of young adult Christians now
will help with efforts of enhancing their spiritual walk with God.
Each year, it our hope and prayer that we are able to
renew,
motivate,
and
edify
the lives of hundreds of young adult Christians near and far. Through a
combination of interactive discussions, encouraging devotionals,
community/outreach initiatives, and fun and exciting fellowship
opportunities, the YAC Weekend will continue to serve as a one-of-a-kind
occasion that celebrates the "good life" that we live as Christians!
