On Saturday, August 27, 2009 Sen. Ted Kennedy's Funeral procession passed slowly through the streets of Washington, DC. Many had gathered and waited patiently to pay respects to Sen. Kennedy and his family. The crowd that waited patiently over 2 hours passed the expected time waved as clapped respectfully and the motorcade passed. These images were taken near at 14th Street and Constitution Avenue which is near the Washington Monument and the White House. The processional continued on to Arlington National Cemetery for burial just before the sun went down.
